Arcade Crafts was opened in Chesterfield in September 1998 by Alison and Chris Swift. A team of helpful staff are on hand, always ready to give advice and demonstrate the wide range of products available in store.

Regular demonstrations are available in store throughout the year, demonstrating products such as stamps, inks, decoupage, paints and die-cutting machines.

There are also a number of services available at Arcade Crafts such as Design A Ribbon, picture framing, cross-stitch conversion, personalised text stamps and a discount service for schools, craft groups and other associations.

- Papercrafting supplies from companies such as Docrafts, Pergamano and Core’dinations.

- Stamping supplies such as clear stamp sets from Buzzcraft, Personal Impressions and more. Inks such as Staz-on and Versacolor and Cosmic Shimmer products.

- Tools such as X-Cut and Purple Cow trimmers, Martha Stewart punches, cutting mats, rotary trimmers, craft knives and tools for modelling.

- Modelling supplies such as plastic model kits from Airfix, Revell, Tamiya, Italeri, Dragon and more. Also stocked are paints, airbrushes, diorama supplies, plaster of paris, resin, modeling clays, candle making supplies and related tools.

- Embroidery supplies such as cross-stitch kits from DMC, Anchor, Heritage, Derwentwater & Bothy Threads. Also stocked are DMC & Anchor stranded cottons, tapestry canvases, DMC & Anchor tapestry wools, needles, magnifiers, lamps, charts, aida and much more.

- Paints including Pebeo ranges Deco, Vitrea 160, Vitrail, Porcelaine 150, Setasilk and Touch. Various oil, acrylic and watercolour sets are available as well as sketch books, drawing pens, sketching pencils, oil pastels, chalk pastels and easels from well known companies such as Staedtler, Pentel, Winsor & Newton, Royal Langnickel and Inscribe.

- Now available is a range of haberdashery supplies (formerly available at SMS) including Gutermann sewing threads, Dylon dyes, tools, fasteners, trims, buttons, zips and sewing boxes. Also stocked are various Timeless Treasures and Lecien quilting fabrics, available in fat quarters or by the metre.

- Also available is an extensive range of ribbons available on small reels or sold per metre – double faced satin, organza, metallic, patterned, cord, seasonal etc.
